Evaluate & Average

in continuation of our activity, we are asked to fill up some cells.

to find the Equivalent grade of the scores, we used
= the score /  the number of items * 100.

to find the average of the grades, we used the formula
=AVERAGE( the cells to be averaged )
or
= ( grade 1 + grade 2 + grade 3 + grade 4 ) / the number of grades

Addition in Excel

There are many ways to do an operation in Excel.

In addition:
1) you can simply type = in the cell where you want the result to be shown or in the formula bar, then the name/address of the cells to be added (which is found on the name box)

which has + in between, then press Enter.

2) type =SUM( in the cell where you want the result to be shown or in the formula bar, then highlight the cells you want to add or just type the name of the cells, then press Enter.
3) To Auto Sum, highlight the cells you want to add, then click the Auto Sum button, then the result will be shown after the last cell, but be sure that your highlighted cells are in the same row or column.

Then...

Then, we moved to the Sheet2 of our first Workbook (Class Record).

There, we counted the population of the Males and Females, and its Total, of our section using this formula:

which Counts the Number of Cells in a Range that are not Empty.

We counted 19 males and 11 females which is 30 in total.

After that, we made a Pie Graph and a Column Graph for it.

Next, we are asked to know the Population by Provinces

And we counted:
4 from Albay, 2 from Cam. Norte, 18 from Cam. Sur, 0 from Catanduanes, 1 from Masbate, 3 from Sorsogon, and 2 from Outside Bicol which we graphed and showed us this:

And again (4 da 2nd tym), I thank JB for helping me in this activity.

Our First Activity

In our first activity...

We are asked to make a class record of 7 Emerald. We put all our names (in alphabetical order, some used the Sort button, but some did't because they already know the alphabetical order of our surnames). After that, we did everything we are asked to do, like merging cells (using the Merge & Center button), typing the text needed, and coloring the background of selected cells (using the Fill Color button).

Since some of our classmates don't have system units on their computer, I finished this activity with the help of JB (thanks JB).
